RRI Workshop "Lost in Translation?"

Moving Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) from the conceptual to practice.

Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) is becoming particularly important in fields such as information technology and the use of digital media. Digital methods and practices are becoming common in research projects and innovation. What does it mean in practical terms? How can we facilitate the uptake of RRI? 

On 16th of November 2017, the iResponse project will host a half-day workshop on the practical aspects of RRI in digital media and participatory processes. The workshop will take place at Consumption Research Norway (SIFO), Oslo and Akershus University College of Applied Sciences. 

Invited keynote speakers are:

Professor Bernd Stahl, Director of the Centre for Computing and Social Responsibility at De Montfort University, Leicester, UK, prominent academic in the field of RRI

Helge Rynning from the Research Council of Norway who has been in the forefront of implementing requirements for ethical and societal issues in the calls.
